- Integration timelines vary based on your existing systems and specific requirements. Standard integrations usually take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks from start to finish.
- While having technical knowledge is helpful, our dedicated integration team will work closely with you or your IT department to handle the heavy lifting.
- We support all major ERPs in the aviation industry including Pentagon, Component Control, AvSight, and more. Our API is flexible enough to connect with custom-built systems as well.
- Yes, we use industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS) and secure token-based authentication to ensure your data remains protected at all times.
- To get started, just contact your PartsBase account manager or email us at service@partsbase.com. We'll provide your credentials and guide you through setup.
- Yes, authentication tokens expire 5,000 seconds after being issued (just under 1.5 hours). Make sure to refresh them as needed during extended sessions.
- Your API username is tied to your PartsBase Admin user. If you recently changed your PartsBase password, make sure you update the "password" value in your API integration as well to keep everything in sync
- Yes! We offer a downloadable inventory file template to make setup easy. You can use this template to build out your inventory load .zip file.
The inventory load type is controlled by the set value for ACTION_CODE value found in your .DAT file. You can only use one action code per file upload:
- A = Adds parts to existing inventory.
- R = Replaces all existing inventory with the parts in the file.
- U = Updates the parts in the file.
- D = Deletes all the parts in the file.
- PULL RFQ: You request RFQs from the system using specific parameters.
- PUSH RFQ: PartsBase automatically sends new RFQs to your endpoint every 3 minutes.
- Yes, they do! You'll see a field labeled <IsOverhaul> in the response to let you know if the RFQ is related to an overhaul request.
